Seeing Hitbox Outlines and Debug Information

Enabling Hitbox Visualization

To see the actual hitboxes on mobs, you'll need to enable debug or visual rendering options.

How to View Hitboxes

1. Check your mod's configuration files or in-game settings menu for a hitbox visibility toggle

2. Look for debug rendering options—some mods provide keybinds to toggle hitbox outlines

3. Enable the feature and approach a mob that uses multiple hitboxes

You should now see colored boxes or outlines around different parts of the mob's body.

What You'll See

  • Distinct colored regions for each hitbox (head, body, legs, etc.)
  • Boxes that move with animations—if the mob swings its arm, that hitbox moves too
  • Attack boxes highlighted differently—these are the zones that deal damage when the mob attacks

Using This Information

Visualization helps you understand exactly where to aim for precision strikes. It also shows you which parts of the mob are currently dangerous during its attack animations, letting you time your dodges better.
