This data pack makes most food items compostable, letting you turn unwanted food into useful bone meal for farming.

Compostable Foods

Many foods now have composting chances, including rotten flesh, poisonous potatoes, and various other consumables. Check the full item list in the mod documentation for your specific foods.

How to Compost

1. Open a composter by right-clicking it.

2. Drop or place food items inside. Each item has a percentage chance to raise the composter's level.

3. Repeat until the composter reaches level 7 (the top fills with dirt).

4. Right-click the full composter to collect bone meal.

Efficiency Tips

• Foods with higher composting percentages (typically 30% or more) fill composters faster.
• Combine low-chance items with high-chance foods to speed up the process.
• Set up multiple composters if you generate large amounts of food waste from farming or cooking.
