Which Buckets Can Be Repaired

Wooden, bamboo, and gold buckets can be repaired in a crafting grid. Iron and diamond buckets are permanent and never need repair. Copper buckets are also permanent.

How to Repair

Place your damaged bucket in a crafting grid alongside the repair material:

• Wooden buckets: repair with wooden planks
• Bamboo buckets: repair with bamboo planks
• Gold buckets: repair with gold ingots

Combining them restores a portion of the bucket's durability. You can repeat this process as many times as needed.

When to Repair vs. Replace

Repair wooden and bamboo buckets early-game since materials are abundant. For gold buckets, repair is worthwhile since gold ingots are relatively rare and permanent buckets (iron/diamond) require significant investment. Once you have copper or diamond buckets, you won't need to repair anymore.

Maximize Bucket Lifespan

Enchant repairable buckets with Conservation at an anvil to reduce durability loss per use, extending the time between repairs.
