Gather apples efficiently from any tree type
Finding the best leaves to harvest
With More Apples installed, all leaf types now drop apples at double the rate of vanilla oak leaves. This means you're no longer limited to oak trees when collecting apples.
Steps:
1. Locate any tree in your world — oak, birch, spruce, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, cherry, or azalea varieties all work equally well
2. Break leaf blocks by hand or with any tool (axes are fastest)
3.
4. Collect the dropped apples
Maximizing your apple yield
Since all leaf types now have the same improved drop rate, choose trees based on convenience rather than type. Birch and spruce forests often have dense canopies with many leaves in a small area, making them efficient for large harvests. Jungle and mangrove trees also provide substantial leaf blocks.
If you're near multiple tree types, prioritize whichever is easiest to access. The doubled drop rate means you'll gather apples faster regardless of which leaves you break, so focus on speed and volume rather than seeking specific tree types.
