Finding Your Shaderpacks Folder

Shader packs must be placed in the correct directory for Monocle Mod to detect them:

• Navigate to your .minecraft folder
• Look for or create a folder named shaderpacks
• This is where all your shader files go

Installing a Shader Pack

1. Download a shader pack (usually a .zip file)

2. Do not extract it—place the .zip file directly into the shaderpacks folder

3. Launch Minecraft

4. Open Options → Shader Packs

5. Your new shader pack should appear in the list

6. Select it and confirm to enable

Managing Multiple Shaders

You can keep multiple shader packs in your shaderpacks folder and switch between them anytime through the Shader Packs menu. Disabling a shader returns you to vanilla rendering. There's no need to restart the game when switching—changes apply immediately.
