Disable or Switch Away from Shaders

Turning Off Shaders Temporarily

1. Open Options (Settings)

2. Click Shader Packs

3. At the top of the list, select (None) or the option labeled for vanilla rendering

4. Confirm your selection

5. Shaders will immediately disable, and you'll return to standard Minecraft visuals

You can re-enable any shader pack the same way without reinstalling anything.

Switching Between Shader Packs

You don't need to disable shaders first:

1. Open Options → Shader Packs

2. Select a different shader pack from the list

3. Confirm

4. The new shader loads automatically; the old one unloads

Removing a Shader Pack Permanently

If you want to delete a shader pack entirely:

1. Navigate to your .minecraft/shaderpacks folder

2. Delete the shader pack's .zip file

3. It will no longer appear in the Shader Packs menu

This doesn't affect your game files or other mods.
