Crafting Keys and Locks

Vanilla Plus Mod includes a lockable container system perfect for securing valuables. Craft a key using the appropriate materials, then combine it with a container (chest, barrel, or similar) to lock it.

Locking Containers

1. Craft or find a key

2. Place the key and container together in a crafting grid

3. The container becomes locked to that specific key

4. Only players holding the matching key can open it

Managing Multiple Keys

You can create multiple keys for the same lock by combining an existing key with blank key materials. This lets you share access with other players on your realm or server without giving away your originals.

Strategic Placement

Use locked containers to protect important items in shared spaces. The system works seamlessly on Realms, making it ideal for multiplayer bases where you want selective access to storage.
