Gathering Dyes

Collect dyes from flowers, cocoa pods, or craft them from materials like lapis lazuli and bone meal. Vanilla Plus Mod supports the full Minecraft dye palette.

Dyeing Your Items

To dye an Elytra, book, or bundle:

1. Place the item and dye together in a crafting grid

2. The item will take on the dye's color

3. You can overdye items—place a dyed item with a new dye to change colors

Combining Colors

Mix multiple dyes in the crafting grid to create custom color combinations before applying to your items. This lets you match your gear to your base aesthetic or create unique color schemes.

Practical Uses
