How to Equip Golem Weapons and Armor

Weapons

Golems can wield Golem Swords, Axes, and Spears in iron, diamond, and heavier variants. To equip:

1. Open the golem's equipment interface (via the Golem Workbench or by right-clicking with the appropriate tool).

2. Place the weapon into the main-hand slot.

3. Confirm — the golem will now use that weapon's damage and reach.

Heavy Golem Spear trades speed for reach and damage. Golem Slicing Axe is a high-damage option with slower swing. Iron Mecha Bow and Beacon Cannon are ranged options — equip them and the golem will fire projectiles at range.

Armor

Armor sets include Barbaric Vanguard (Helmet, Chestplate, Shinguard, Boots) and Beacon Boots. Place each piece into the corresponding armor slot on the golem. Full sets give the best protection; partial sets still reduce damage.

Loadout Advice

  • Melee guard: Diamond Golem Sword + full Barbaric Vanguard set.
  • Ranged support: Iron Mecha Bow or Beacon Cannon + Beacon Boots for mobility.
  • Tank: Heavy Golem Spear + Fire Immune Upgrade + full armor.

If a weapon won't equip, check that the golem's arm type supports it — some arm parts restrict weapon class.
