How to Command Golems with the Command Wand and Hostile Wand

Command Wand Basics

Right-click a golem with the Command Wand to open its command menu. From here you can set stance (follow, stay, wander, patrol), toggle attack-on-sight, and assign a home position. Use it whenever you want to reposition a golem without breaking and rebuilding it.

Hostile Wand

Right-click a mob with the Hostile Wand to mark it as a target for your golems. This is useful for focusing fire on a specific threat — a raid leader, a boss, or a player-owned pet you want removed. The mark persists until the target dies or you clear it.

Practical Routines

  • Base defense: set golems to Stay near your entrance, then use the Hostile Wand on any mob that wanders in.
  • Escort: set to Follow and keep the wand ready to redirect them at ambushers.
  • Patrol: assign a patrol route if the menu supports waypoints; otherwise chain Stay points by moving golems manually.

If a golem refuses a command, verify it isn't already locked into a card behavior — cards can override wand commands. Unbind the card first if needed.
