How to Turn Off the Bold World Creation Title
Why the Title Looks Bold
By default, Modern World Creation renders the world creation menu title in a bold style to match the modern Bedrock Edition header. Some players find it too heavy, especially on smaller GUI scales or with resource packs that already use thick fonts. The mod exposes a dedicated toggle for this, so you do not need a resource pack to change it.
Disabling the Bold Title
1. Fully close Minecraft. The config is only read on startup, so editing it mid-session has no effect.
2. Navigate to .minecraft/config/modernworldcreation/config.cfg.
3. Open the file with any plain text editor — Notepad, TextEdit, or similar. Do not use a word processor that adds formatting.
4. Find the entry controlling the bold menu title and set it to the off/disabled value.
5. Save the file.
6. Launch the game and open the world creation screen to confirm the title now renders in the normal weight.
If It Does Not Change
Double-check that you saved the file and that you edited the correct config.cfg — if you have multiple Minecraft instances or launcher profiles, each one has its own .minecraft directory and therefore its own config. Also confirm the mod is actually loaded for that profile; a client-side mod that is disabled will leave the menu in its vanilla state regardless of what the config says.
