Enable Natural Spawning for MobVote Creatures in Your World
Configuring Wilderness Spawning
By default, MobVote mobs only spawn via commands. To have them appear naturally in your world like regular Minecraft mobs, you need to modify the spawn configuration.
Setup Process
1. Open your MythicMobs configuration folder
2. Locate the mob configuration files for creatures you want spawning naturally (Iceologer, Meerkats, Tuff Golem, etc.)
3. In each mob's config file, enable the spawner or spawn-conditions section
4. Set biome restrictions if desired—for example, Iceologers spawn in snowy biomes, Meerkats in deserts
5. Define spawn rates and group sizes (how many spawn together)
6. Run /meg reload to apply changes
Testing Your Setup
If nothing appears, verify:
- The mob's spawn conditions match your current biome
- Mob cap settings aren't preventing spawns
- The configuration file syntax is correct (YAML formatting matters)
You can also use /mythicmobs debug to check if spawning is working correctly.
