MobVote Full Edition Model FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I get mobs to actually spawn in my world?
You need to enable natural spawning by adding spawn rules to your MythicMobs configuration files—the mod doesn't spawn creatures automatically by default. Check the 'Enable Natural Spawning for MobVote Creatures in Your World' guide for the specific config edits needed for your biomes.
Why aren't the mobs showing their animations?
This usually means ModelEngine didn't load the models correctly or your resource pack didn't install properly. Run `/meg reload` to refresh the model cache, and verify the resource pack folder contents are in your server's resource pack directory.
Can I use this mod on a multiplayer server?
Yes, but all players must have the resource pack installed on their client side, and your server must have both ModelEngine and MythicMobs plugins running. Without the resource pack, players will see invisible or default mobs.
How do I tame a Copper Golem as a pet?
Copper Golems can be tamed using specific items—refer to the 'Spawn and Tame a Copper Golem as a Pet' guide for the exact taming method and any required items. Once tamed, they'll follow you and defend against threats.
What's the difference between the MooBloom variants?
MooBloom comes in multiple color and flower variants that spawn naturally or can be manually created through configuration. You can customize which variants appear in your world by editing the MythicMobs config files.
Do these mobs drop items when killed?
Drops depend on how you configure each mob in your MythicMobs files—by default they may drop nothing, vanilla items, or custom loot. Check your mob configuration to see or modify what each creature yields.
Will this mod cause lag on my server?
Performance impact depends on how many mobs you spawn and your server specs, but ModelEngine is optimized for animated creatures. Start with natural spawning disabled and enable it gradually while monitoring server performance.
Can I make my own variants of Tuff Golem?
Yes—the 'Create Custom Variants of MooBloom and Tuff Golem' guide walks through editing the resource pack and configuration files to create new color or texture variants. You'll need to modify both the model files and MythicMobs config.
What happens if I don't have MythicMobs installed?
The mod won't work—MythicMobs is required to handle mob AI, spawning, and behavior. ModelEngine alone only provides the models and animations; you need MythicMobs to actually use them in your world.
How do I remove or disable specific mobs from spawning?
Edit the MythicMobs configuration files and either delete the mob's config file or set its spawn chance to zero. You can also use MythicMobs commands to prevent specific mobs from spawning in certain regions.
