How to Show Armor and Air Supply on Mobs
Understanding What Triggers Each Display
Mob Plaques only shows armor points, armor toughness, and air supply when they are relevant to the mob. A zombie wearing a full set of armor will show armor icons; a plain cow will not. Air supply appears when a mob is underwater or has an air value that is draining. You do not need to enable these individually in most config versions — they appear automatically based on the mob's state. If you want to verify, spawn a mob, give it armor with a command or by dropping armor near it, and watch the plaque update.
Toggling Individual Elements
Some config versions let you turn each element on or off separately. Look for checkboxes or boolean options named something like showArmor, showToughness, or showAir. If you find armor icons distracting during combat, disable armor but keep health. If you are building an underwater farm and want to monitor drowning mobs, keep air supply on and turn off everything else for a clean readout.
Why Air Supply Sometimes Doesn't Show
Air supply only renders when the mob actually has an air value that is below maximum. Mobs that breathe underwater, or mobs standing on land, will not show air bubbles. If you are testing in water and still see nothing, make sure the mob is fully submerged and that the config option for air is enabled. Also confirm your shader pack is not hiding the plaque entirely, since a broken render means no elements show at all.
