Troubleshoot Auras Not Appearing or Rendering Incorrectly

Check Mod Compatibility

Ensure the mod is properly installed and loaded. Verify it appears in your mods list in-game. If it's not showing up, reinstall it and make sure you're using a compatible Minecraft version.

Verify Configuration Exists

Confirm that a configuration file has been generated in .minecraft/config. If it doesn't exist, launch the game once with the mod installed to auto-generate it, then restart.

Review Effect Settings

Open the configuration and check that potion effects are not all disabled. Ensure at least some effects have their toggles set to true or enabled. If all effects are turned off, no auras will appear.

Test with Different Effects

Drink various potions (Speed, Strength, Poison, Slowness) to see if auras appear for any of them. If only some effects show auras, check if others are disabled in the config. If no auras appear at all, try resetting the configuration to defaults and restarting your game.

Check Performance Settings

If auras flicker or disappear, your graphics settings or render distance might be interfering. Ensure your game's performance isn't bottlenecking the mod's visual rendering.
