Set up automatic ore mining with Veination

Enable and configure Veination

Veination automatically mines entire ore veins when you break a single block of ore. This is ideal for strip mining and cave exploration.

1. Equip a pickaxe and ensure Veination is enabled in your mod settings

2. Break any block of ore you encounter

3. The mod will automatically detect and break all connected blocks of the same ore type within the configured range

4. Adjust the range in your settings if you want to mine larger or smaller veins at once

Optimize your mining speed

If veins are breaking too slowly or too quickly:

• Increase Blocks per Tick in settings to harvest faster (may cause lag on servers)
• Increase Tick Delay to slow down harvesting and reduce server impact
• Check your server's configuration—admins may have enforced specific speed limits

Veination works best when paired with Substitution (automatic tool selection) so you always have the right pickaxe equipped. Enable Captivation to automatically collect dropped ore and XP without manual pickup.
