How do I enable a component like Veination or Lumbination?
Each component has its own toggle in the mod settings menu. Enable the component you want to use, then activate it while holding the appropriate tool (pickaxe for Veination, axe for Lumbination, etc.) by looking at a block of the target type and using your configured keybind.
What's the difference between Blocks per Tick and Tick Delay?
Blocks per Tick controls how many blocks are harvested in each processing cycle, while Tick Delay controls how long the mod waits between cycles. Lowering Blocks per Tick or raising Tick Delay reduces server load if you're experiencing lag.
Can I use multiple components at the same time?
Yes, Miner's Advantage uses multi-threaded worker processes, so you can run multiple components simultaneously without waiting for one to finish. For example, you can use Shaftanation while Illumination lights up your tunnel at the same time.
Why does my server admin say I can't use certain components?
Server admins can disable specific components or restrict their settings in the server configuration. If a component is disabled server-wide, all players will have it locked out regardless of their client settings.
Does Captivation pick up items automatically while I'm mining?
Yes, Captivation automatically collects dropped items and XP orbs in a magnet mode, so you don't have to manually pick them up while using other components.
What tool do I need for Excavation to work?
Excavation breaks connected blocks of the same type within your specified range, but it works best with a shovel for dirt and sand, or a pickaxe for stone and similar materials.
Can I customize which ores Veination mines?
Yes, you can configure which ores are harvestable in your mod settings, and server admins can enforce these restrictions across all players on their server.
Does Substitution automatically switch my tools while mining?
Yes, Substitution automatically selects the correct tool from your inventory as you mine different block types, so you don't have to manually swap tools.
Will this mod cause lag on my server?
Miner's Advantage is designed to be server-friendly with multi-threaded processing and customizable speed settings. If you experience lag, server admins can lower Blocks per Tick or increase Tick Delay to reduce the processing load.
How does Lumbination know which blocks are part of the tree?
Lumbination breaks connected wood blocks within your specified range, automatically detecting the tree structure. It will fell the entire tree as long as the wood blocks are connected and within range.
