Dig a mine shaft with Shaftanation

Shaftanation carves out a mine shaft by breaking blocks in a defined pattern, perfect for creating organized mining tunnels.

1. Enable Shaftanation in your mod settings

2. Equip a pickaxe and stand where you want the shaft to begin

3. Activate Shaftanation (keybind or command—check your mod settings)

4. The mod will dig a shaft with the configured dimensions (typically 2×1×64 or similar)

5. The shaft will extend downward or in your facing direction depending on settings

Optimize shaft creation

• Adjust Blocks per Tick to control digging speed without overwhelming the server
• Increase Tick Delay if you experience lag during shaft creation
• Enable Illumination to automatically place torches as you dig, keeping the shaft lit
• Enable Captivation to collect stone and ore automatically
• Use Substitution to ensure the correct pickaxe is always equipped

Server admins may enforce shaft dimensions or disable Shaftanation entirely, so check your server's configuration if the component isn't working as expected.
