Using Milk Buckets from Modded Animals (Cooking, Brewing, Effects)
What the Milk Does
The Milk Bucket produced by Milk All The Mobs is the same item as vanilla milk. That means every vanilla use applies: drinking it clears all status effects (positive and negative), and it works as a brewing ingredient and in recipes that call for milk.
Practical Uses
- Cure effects: Drink a Milk Bucket to remove poison, wither, slowness, or any other potion effect. Useful after a witch or cave spider encounter.
- Brewing: Place the Milk Bucket in a brewing stand where a recipe calls for milk.
- Cooking: Any mod or vanilla recipe that accepts a Milk Bucket will accept yours — the mod does not create a separate milk type.
- Cake and similar recipes: Standard milk-based recipes work with milk from any supported animal.
Storage and Stacking
Milk Buckets do not stack in vanilla, and this mod does not change that. Carry them in a shulker box or a dedicated chest near your brewing stand. If you plan to milk many animals, bring several empty buckets so you can fill them in one trip.
Note on Modded Recipes
Some mods add their own milk-like fluids. Milk All The Mobs outputs the standard Milk Bucket, so it will only work in recipes that specifically accept vanilla milk. Check the recipe viewer (JEI/REI) if a recipe seems not to accept your bucket.
