How to Use Midnighttigger's Default Connected Textures Resource Pack
Getting Connected Textures Working
This resource pack brings connected textures to Minecraft's default look, so blocks that normally show hard seams between them instead blend into a single continuous surface. The effect is inspired by Optifine's connected textures feature and targets blocks like glass, bookshelves, and similar textures that look better without blocky separation.
To use it, enable the pack through your resource pack selection screen like any other pack. Because connected textures are not part of vanilla rendering, you will need a mod or client that supports connected textures for the effect to appear; without that support, the pack will simply load without changing how blocks connect.
Once active, place matching blocks next to each other and the seams between them should disappear. This is most noticeable on large glass windows, where panes read as one clear surface, and on bookshelves, where the shelf pattern flows across adjacent blocks instead of restarting at every edge. Build a small test wall of glass or bookshelves first to confirm the connections are rendering before using it in a large build.
