Replace Vanilla Paintings with Medieval Ones

Why Vanilla Paintings Still Appear

By default, Minecraft's original paintings will still render in your world even after installing this mod. To see only medieval artwork, you need an additional texture pack that converts the vanilla painting textures to medieval designs.

Installing the Texture Pack

Download the medieval paintings texture pack and place it in your resourcepacks folder. Launch Minecraft, go to Options → Resource Packs, and move the medieval pack to the active list. Make sure it's positioned above the default textures so it takes priority.

Verifying the Change

Once activated, any painting you place—whether from the mod or vanilla—will display as a medieval artwork. Existing paintings in your world will also update to show medieval textures. If you don't see the change, check that the texture pack is enabled and restart your game. You can toggle between vanilla and medieval paintings by enabling or disabling the texture pack.
