Troubleshoot Missing or Broken Job Icons

Common Issues and Solutions

Icons show as purple and black (missing texture)

  • The resource pack didn't load properly. Verify it's enabled in your launcher or server settings.
  • Check that the resource pack folder structure is correct and all files are intact.

Job menu appears but shows default items instead of medieval icons

  • Your job plugin may not be configured to use custom models. Review your plugin's settings to enable ItemsAdder, Oraxen, or Nexo integration.
  • Ensure Medieval Jobs Model's resource pack is placed in the correct resource packs directory.

Only some job icons display correctly

  • A texture file may be corrupted or missing. Reinstall Medieval Jobs Model to restore all ten job icon files.
  • Check that your job plugin recognizes all ten jobs (Blacksmith, Cutter, Digger, Enchanter, Farmer, Fisherman, Alchemist, Builder, Hunter, Miner).

Verification Steps

1. Restart your Minecraft client completely.

2. Rejoin the server and check the job menu again.

3. Confirm the resource pack is listed as active in your resource pack settings.

4. If problems persist, reinstall the mod and resource pack from scratch.
