Activating the End Portal with Mechanical Eyes

Preparing the Portal Frame

Once you've located the stronghold, you'll find the End Portal frame room with twelve empty frame blocks arranged in a square pattern. The Mechanical Eye resource pack changes how these frames appear visually, giving them a metallic, robotic aesthetic.

Placing Eyes to Activate the Portal

1. Approach each empty End Portal frame block

2. Right-click with a Mechanical Eye to place it in the frame

3. Repeat for all twelve frames around the portal

4. Watch the animation as each eye activates with a mechanical effect

5. Step back as the portal ignites and opens

What to Expect

The Mechanical Eye resource pack adds a moving animation to each eye as it settles into the frame, creating a more dynamic and visually interesting activation sequence. The portal itself will display the new robotic styling. Once all twelve eyes are placed, the End Portal will activate normally, allowing you to enter The End. Make sure you're prepared for combat before jumping through!
