MCMod Splashes Plus Plus Mod FAQ

The mod requires your game language to be set to Simplified Chinese to display the meme splashes. Open Options > Language and select Simplified Chinese, then restart your game.

No—you only need Simplified Chinese enabled while the mod is active. You can switch back to your preferred language anytime, but the meme splashes will stop appearing until you switch back to Chinese.

This mod replaces the default splash text system, so running it alongside other splash-modifying mods may cause conflicts or unpredictable behavior. Test compatibility with your other mods first.

You see a new meme splash each time you load the game and reach the title screen, pulling randomly from the mcmod.cn community joke database.

Yes—since splashes are chosen randomly from the available pool, you may encounter repeats, especially if you load the game many times.

No, this mod only changes the title screen text and has no impact on in-game performance or mechanics.

Verify your game language is set to Simplified Chinese in Options > Language, then fully close and reopen the game. If splashes still don't appear, try reinstalling the mod.

This is a client-side mod that only affects your title screen, so it works in single-player and doesn't need to be installed on servers.

Check the mod's download page for the specific Minecraft versions it supports—splash mods are usually version-dependent.

This mod pulls splashes directly from the mcmod.cn website, so custom memes cannot be added locally—you would need to contribute jokes to the mcmod community instead.
