How to Share Your Minecraft Log with Mclogs In-Game

Sharing the Current Log

When something goes wrong in your world or on your server, the fastest way to get help is to hand someone a link to the log. The Mclogs Plugin makes this a one-step job.

Open your chat and run:

`

/mclogs

`

This uploads the current server log to mclo.gs and returns a short URL in chat. Copy that link and paste it wherever you are asking for help — a Discord support channel, a forum thread, or a bug report.

Before the upload finishes, the plugin automatically strips sensitive details such as IP addresses, so you do not need to manually scrub the file first. It also tags errors, warnings, and version info so whoever reads the page can spot the problem quickly.

When to Use It

Reach for /mclogs whenever:

  • The server crashed or threw a stack trace you do not understand.
  • A mod is misbehaving and you want a second pair of eyes.
  • You are filing a bug report and need to attach evidence.

If you only have permission for /mclogs.share and not the base command, use that instead — it does the same upload but is meant for picking a specific file (see the guide on sharing crash reports).

Once the link is posted, anyone with it can view the highlighted log in a browser without downloading anything.
