How to Share a Crash Report or Old Log with /mclogs share

Listing What You Can Share

The base /mclogs command only grabs the live server log. To send a crash report, a network protocol error, or an older rotated log, you first need to see what is available.

Run:

`

/mclogs list

`

This prints the server logs, crash reports, and network protocol error reports the plugin can find, each with an index or identifier. Read through the list and note the one you want.

Uploading the Chosen File

With the identifier in hand, run:

`

/mclogs share <identifier>

`

Replace <identifier> with the value shown by /mclogs list. The plugin uploads that specific file to mclo.gs and returns a link in chat, exactly like the base command does.

This is the command to use when:

  • The game crashed earlier and you restarted since — the live log no longer shows the failure, but the crash report does.
  • You hit a network protocol error while connecting and want to show the handshake failure.
  • You need to compare an old log against a fresh one to see what changed.

Sensitive info is hidden on upload just as with /mclogs, and errors and warnings are highlighted on the resulting page. Copy the returned URL and share it with whoever is helping you debug.
