How to Give Someone a Log Link Without OP Permissions
Understanding the Permission Nodes
The Mclogs Plugin splits its commands across three permission nodes so server owners can decide who is allowed to upload logs:
/mclogs— share the current server log./mclogs.list— list available logs, crash reports, and network protocol errors./mclogs.share— share a specific file from that list.
If you type a command and get a permission error, you are missing the matching node. Ask whoever manages your permissions (often the server owner or an admin using a permissions plugin) to grant it to your rank.
What to Ask For
For everyday troubleshooting, /mclogs alone is usually enough — it covers the common case of "the server just did something weird, here is the log."
If you also need to dig into past crashes or network errors, request /mclogs.list and /mclogs.share together, since listing without sharing is not very useful.
If You Cannot Get Permission
On servers where you have no access at all, you cannot upload through the plugin. In that situation, ask an admin or the console operator to run /mclogs for you and send you the link. The upload still hides IP addresses and highlights errors, so it is safe to pass along to other players or to a mod author.
