Mclogs Mclo.gs Plugin FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I upload my server log?
Type `/mclogs` in your server console to upload the current server log instantly. A short web link will appear in the console—click it or copy it to view the log online.
Can I share a crash report instead of the main log?
Yes. Use `/mclogs share ` to upload crash reports and network error files. The plugin works with any log file in your server directory, not just the main server log.
What information does the plugin hide from my logs?
The plugin automatically removes private details like IP addresses, system usernames, and other sensitive data before uploading. This keeps your server safe while still letting you share errors with helpers.
How do I see all the logs I've uploaded?
Type `/mclogs list` in your console to see a list of all your previously uploaded server logs and crash reports with their IDs.
Can I delete a log after I've shared it?
Yes. Use `/mclogs delete ` to remove any log you no longer want to share. You can find the log ID in your list of uploads.
Does this work on my client or proxy server?
Yes. Use `/mclogsc` for client-side logs or `/mclogsp` for proxy server logs. The commands work the same way as the main server command.
How do I know what caused my server to crash?
Open the uploaded log link in your browser—errors and warnings are highlighted in different colors so you can spot the problem quickly. The website also detects common issues and shows your game version automatically.
Can I use my own website to host logs instead of mclo.gs?
Yes. Edit the configuration file and change the `apiBaseUrl` setting to point to your own server's API address instead of the default mclo.gs URL.
Why can't I upload my log—what went wrong?
Check that your server has internet access and can reach the mclo.gs API (or your custom API if you changed the URL). If you're using a custom URL, make sure it's configured correctly in the config file.
Do I need to restart my server after uploading a log?
No. Uploading a log doesn't affect your server—it just reads the current log file and sends it to the web. Your server keeps running normally.
