Customize Individual Map Displays
Access Per-Frame Settings
Each item frame stores its own independent display settings. Sneak and right-click any framed map to open its customization menu. Changes you make apply only to that specific frame, leaving others untouched.
Toggle Between 2D and 3D
Switch individual maps between flat 2D display and 3D volumetric terrain rendering. This is useful when you want some maps to show traditional flat views while others showcase dramatic 3D terrain.
Adjust Vertical Starting Point
Modify the starting Y-level for each map independently. This controls which height range the 3D terrain displays from. Lower Y-levels show deeper underground features, while higher levels focus on surface terrain and sky-facing mountains.
Save Your Preferences
All customization is saved directly to the item frame itself. Your settings persist even if you move the frame, remove the map temporarily, or reload your world. This makes it safe to experiment with different configurations without losing your preferences.
