Mapping Your Journey

The Penumbra Region has eight gyms scattered across different towns. Start with the first gym and work your way through in order—each successive gym has stronger leaders. Follow roads between towns and use landmarks to navigate.

Exploring Between Gyms

Don't rush from gym to gym. Explore caves, water routes, and tall grass areas between towns to catch new Pokémon and train your team. You'll find trainers on roads who offer good experience and money.

Town Resources

Every town has a Pokémon Center for healing and a shop for items. Talk to NPCs for hints about the next gym's location and the leader's type specialty. Some towns have additional facilities like move tutors or item shops.

Tracking Progress

Keep mental note of which badges you've earned. Once you have all eight, head to the Elite Four location. The region is designed so gyms become progressively harder, so don't skip ahead.
