How do I start a new game in the Penumbra Region?

Where do I find wild Pokémon to catch?
Wild Pokémon spawn in grass patches, caves, and bodies of water throughout the region. Different areas have different creature types, so explore various biomes and environments to find the species you're looking for.
What's the best order to challenge the eight gyms?
The gyms are designed to be challenged in a specific progression order—following the main paths through towns will naturally guide you to them in the intended sequence. Attempting them out of order may result in facing overleveled leaders.
How do I prepare my team before a gym battle?
Train your Pokémon by battling wild creatures and other trainers to raise their levels, teach them new moves, and ensure you have type coverage against the gym leader's theme. Visit a Pokémon Center to heal before entering the gym.
Can I catch Pokémon after beating all eight gyms?
Yes, you can continue catching and training Pokémon even after completing the main gyms. The Elite Four challenge is the final goal, but the region remains open for exploration and team building.
What happens if my whole team faints during a gym battle?
You'll be sent back to the last Pokémon Center you visited, and you can heal your team and try the gym again. You don't lose progress toward the gym—just try with better preparation.
How many Pokémon should I have before facing the Elite Four?
