Stacking X-Ray with Other Resource Packs

Understand Pack Layering

Mahi's X-Ray is designed to work as an overlay on top of your existing resource packs. It modifies only the terrain blocks (stone, deepslate, dirt) into wireframes while leaving other textures untouched. This means your favorite custom pack's appearance remains intact.

Load Both Packs Correctly

In your resource pack selection menu, place X-Ray either above or below your other packs depending on your preference. If X-Ray is on top, its wireframe effect takes priority for terrain blocks. If below, your other pack's textures may show through for non-terrain blocks. Experiment to find the visual balance you prefer.

Check Compatibility

Since X-Ray uses standard Minecraft textures as a base, it rarely conflicts with other packs. However, if another pack heavily modifies terrain blocks, there may be visual overlap. Test your combination in-game and adjust pack order if needed.

Preserve Your Aesthetic

The modular design means you keep your custom looks while gaining X-Ray functionality. You won't lose decorative textures or custom mob skins—only terrain transparency changes.
