Magnetized Loot Harvest Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I turn on auto-pickup when I first install the mod?
Auto-pickup is enabled by default when you install the mod. If it's off, use /autopickup master to turn the whole mod back on, or /autopickup gui to open the settings menu and enable individual features.
Why are my items still dropping on the ground?
Your inventory is full. The mod intentionally drops extra items at your feet to prevent loss when you run out of space—pick up or drop something to make room, then break more blocks.
Does this mod break my automated farms?
No. The mod is designed to leave automated mob and crop farms untouched so items stay in your machines and hoppers work normally.
How do I share mob drops and experience with my team?
Use /autopickup splitmobloot to share mob drops and /autopickup splitmobxp to share experience with nearby players who attacked the same mob. Both must be toggled on to split rewards.
Can I turn off auto-pickup for just blocks or just mobs?
Yes. Use /autopickup blocks to toggle block collection, /autopickup mobloot for mob drops, /autopickup blockxp for block experience, and /autopickup mobxp for mob experience—each can be controlled separately.
Why does my tool take damage before Mending kicks in?
The mod delays experience collection slightly so your tool finishes taking damage before the experience orbs repair it. This is intentional to prevent tools from repairing mid-swing.
Can a server admin force settings on specific players?
Yes. Server owners can use /autopickup override to set custom rules for individual players, or /autopickup allow to lock down which settings players can change.
Does this mod work with vein mining and tree harvesting mods?
Yes. The mod is compatible with popular mining and tree-chopping tools and works alongside vein mining mods without conflicts.
Will this mod cause server lag?
No—the mod actually reduces lag by preventing floating item drops and experience orbs from cluttering the ground and consuming server resources.
Where do I find my personal settings file?
Your client preferences are stored in config/AutoPickup/client_default.toml. Server admins can also check config/AutoPickup/global_config.json for server defaults and config/AutoPickup/player_overrides.json for custom player rules.
