Maximize Damage Output with Dual-Wield Combos

Understanding Dual-Wield Attack Patterns

Many weapons in this pack gain enhanced or entirely different attack sequences when you hold a second weapon or item in your off-hand. Dual-wield combos often feature cross-cuts, synchronized strikes, or extended hit counts that single-wield versions don't offer.

Setting Up Your Dual-Wield Build

1. Equip your primary magic weapon in your main hand.

2. Place a compatible off-hand item (another weapon, shield, or even an empty hand counts for some weapons) in your secondary slot.

3. Perform a normal attack swing—the weapon will automatically trigger its dual-wield combo instead of the single-wield pattern.

4. Weapons like Twilight Gale, Beongae, Cinderous Scimitar, Sanctified Sword, and Levin Sword have noticeably different dual-wield routines.

Optimizing Your Strategy

Dual-wield combos typically hit more times per swing cycle, making them ideal for:

  • Breaking through enemy armor
  • Applying status effects multiple times in quick succession
  • Overwhelming fast-moving targets

Experiment with different off-hand items to find which combination feels smoothest for your playstyle. Some weapons reward dual-wielding more dramatically than others.
