Set Up Pearl Catching for Diagonal Aiming

Enable Pearl Catching

Open the MaceCore configuration menu and locate the Pearl Catching section. Ensure the feature is toggled on. This mode allows you to catch thrown ender pearls mid-flight while your crosshair is aimed in any direction, including diagonals.

Configure Your Keybind

Assign a keybind to activate pearl catching (or leave it on toggle mode if you prefer). Test the keybind in a safe environment by throwing pearls and attempting to catch them while moving and aiming at different angles.

Adjust Sensitivity Settings

If catches feel inconsistent, check the pearl catching sensitivity or range settings in the config. Tighter settings require more precise aim; looser settings are more forgiving. Start with default values and refine based on your playstyle.

Practice the Timing

Pearl catching works best when you throw the pearl slightly ahead of your position and catch it as it approaches. The mod handles the directional complexity, but you still need to time the catch window correctly. Practice in creative mode to build muscle memory before using it in combat.
