MaceCore Client Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I turn on pearl catching?
Pearl catching is enabled by default in MaceCore. Open the mod's config menu and verify that Pearl Catching is toggled on; you can then use it while holding a mace and aiming, including diagonally.
What's the difference between shield slam and regular mace hits?
Shield slam is a specific flow that disables an opponent's shield and chains into a midair mace hit in one sequence. Regular mace hits don't have this shield-breaking property—shield slam requires the mod's automation to execute the timing correctly.
Why isn't my mace swapping working in combat?
Check that Sword and Axe Swapping is enabled in config and that you have multiple maces in your hotbar; the mod uses dynamic selection to pick the right tool based on your situation, but it won't swap if only one mace is available.
Does lock-on assist work with other aiming mods?
Lock-on assist is a soft aim assist built into MaceCore and is fully configurable; it should not conflict with other mods, but if you experience issues, try disabling it in config to test compatibility.
What does tick variance do?
Tick variance randomizes the timing of your automated actions (like pearl catches and shield slams) to avoid predictable patterns; it's enabled by default and can be adjusted or disabled in the config if you prefer consistent timing.
How do I use shield draining mode?
Enable Shield Draining in config, then aim at a blocking opponent; the mod will simulate rapid clicks at a fixed rate to drain their shield durability without you clicking manually.
Can I use elytra potting with this mod?
Yes, MaceCore includes an Elytra Potting technique that combines wind charge and splash potion mechanics; enable it in config and follow the timing cues provided by the mod's sound effects.
What do the sound effects mean?
MaceCore uses custom vanilla-based sound cues to notify you when mace tech triggers occur (like successful pearl catches or shield slams); these are intuitive audio feedback and can be adjusted in config.
Is everything in this mod configurable?
Yes, the entire feature set is configurable—you can enable, disable, or adjust sensitivity for pearl catching, shield slam, swapping, lock-on, tick variance, shield draining, and sound effects.
Will this mod get me banned on servers?
MaceCore is a client-side mod that automates actions within vanilla game mechanics; server rules vary, so check your server's mod policy before using it in multiplayer.
