Automate Mace and Sword Swapping in Combat

Enable Weapon Swapping

Open the MaceCore config and locate the Sword and Axe Swapping section. Toggle it on to enable automatic weapon switching during combat.

Assign Your Hotbar

Place your mace(s) in specific hotbar slots, and your sword or axe in another. The mod will reference these slots when deciding which weapon to use. If you have multiple maces, configure the dynamic selection behavior to choose the best one based on your current situation.

Configure Dynamic Selection

When multiple maces are present, the mod can prioritize based on durability, enchantments, or other factors. Check the dynamic selection settings and choose a priority mode that matches your strategy.

Test in Safe Environment

Practice in creative mode or a test world. Trigger combat scenarios and verify that the mod swaps to the correct weapon at the right time. Adjust sensitivity or swap thresholds if needed.

Fine-Tune Keybinds

You can still manually override automatic swaps by pressing your hotbar keys directly. The automation works alongside manual control, not against it.
