What does the Mace Variants Mod add to Minecraft?
It adds three new mace variants: the Diamond mace, the Flame mace, and the Wind sword. These are crafted using recipes shown in the mod's screenshots.
Why was the Mace Variants Mod created?

What makes the Diamond mace different from the vanilla mace?
It is stronger and faster than the vanilla mace. It also gives a speed boost to players holding it in the main hand.
What special ability does the Flame mace have?
It has the Fire Aspect enchantment by default. It will light any mob it strikes on fire.
What enchantments does the Wind sword come with?
The Wind sword has Wind Burst II and Sharpness enchantments on it.
