Macaws Quark FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Do I need Quark mod installed to use Macaw's Quark mod?
Yes, Macaw's Quark Mod is a compatibility addon that requires both Quark and the relevant Macaw's mod (Bridges, Roofs, Fences, or Hedges) to be installed. Without Quark, the mod will not function.
What Macaw's mods work with this compatibility mod?
Macaw's Quark Mod adds compatibility for Macaw's Bridges, Macaw's Roofs, Macaw's Fences, and Macaw's Hedges, allowing you to craft decorative blocks from these mods using Quark materials.
How do I craft Quark-themed bridges?
Use the crafting recipes added by this mod to combine Quark blocks with Macaw's Bridges components. Check your crafting table or JEI for the specific recipe—it typically uses Quark decorative blocks as the primary material.
Can I mix Quark blocks with Macaw's Hedges?
Yes, this mod adds recipes that let you combine Quark decorative blocks with Macaw's Hedges to create themed hedge variants that match your Quark-based builds.
Do the new blocks have the same properties as the originals?
The Quark-themed variants retain the same functionality as their base Macaw's mod counterparts—they stack, connect, and behave identically, just with Quark-themed textures and materials.
Why don't I see the Quark-themed blocks in my creative inventory?
Make sure both Quark and the corresponding Macaw's mod are loaded alongside Macaw's Quark Mod. If all three are installed correctly, the blocks should appear in the creative menu and JEI.
Can I use these blocks in survival mode?
Yes, all Quark-themed blocks are fully craftable in survival mode using the recipes this mod adds. Gather the required Quark materials and Macaw's mod components, then craft them at a crafting table.
Does this mod add performance issues?
Macaw's Quark Mod is lightweight since it only adds recipes and block variants—performance impact is minimal and comparable to using Quark or Macaw's mods individually.
Will this mod work with other Macaw's mods like Paintings or Doors?
No, Macaw's Quark Mod is specifically designed for Bridges, Roofs, Fences, and Hedges. Other Macaw's mods are not included in this compatibility addon.
How do I find recipes for all the new blocks?
Use JEI (Just Enough Items) or NEI to search for recipes—filter by Quark materials or browse Macaw's mod categories to see all available Quark-themed variants and their crafting recipes.
