It is a holiday-themed creature that fits the mod's spooky-season decorations, appearing alongside the bat-themed decor items like the Bat Doormat and Bat Wall Deco blocks. Treat it as a decorative ambient mob rather than a boss or a resource source.

Encountering It

Because it is bat-like, expect it to appear in dark or enclosed spaces and to move around erratically the way bats do. If you are building a haunted or Halloween-themed room, an Awakened Bat wandering the space adds atmosphere. If you do not want it in a build, light the area well — bats generally avoid brightly lit spaces.

• Do not rely on the Awakened Bat for drops; it is primarily an atmospheric mob.
