How do I start decorating with Macaw's Holidays?
Craft the decorative blocks you want from the mod's recipes, then place them like any normal block. Start with a themed set like candy canes, presents, or string lights and build outward from there.
How do I build a decorated Christmas tree?
Stack the Decorated 
Christmas Tree Base, Bottom, Middle, and Top blocks in that order to form the trunk, then attach ornaments, garlands, and string lights to the sides. Each color variant has its own matching tree pieces.

How do balloons, string lights, and garlands attach to blocks?
Balloons float above the block you place them on, while string lights and garlands are wall decorations that need a solid surface behind them. Face the correct side when placing or they won't stick.

Wall decorations like

Do these decorations cause lag on a server?
Individual blocks are lightweight, but large builds with hundreds of string lights, garlands, or balloons can add up. If you notice lag, thin out dense clusters of small decorations first.
Can I decorate on any biome or dimension?
Yes, holiday blocks work anywhere you can place normal blocks, including the Nether and End. Just remember that some mobs like the Awakened Bat may behave differently depending on light level.

Can I use Macaw's Holidays in my modpack?
Yes, the mod author allows use in modpacks as long as you credit them and reference the Modrinth page.
Will Macaw's Holidays be backported to 1.15.2 or lower?
The mod author says backporting to 1.15.2 and lower is very unlikely, though a last 1.12.2 version could happen at some time.
