Preserve Classic Block Colors While Using Fantasy Palette
Understand Color Grading
LVE Sunward applies a fantasy color palette that enriches the world while keeping block tones recognizable. The shader uses color grading rather than texture replacement, so your original blocks remain identifiable.
Access Color and Tone Settings
In shader options, look for "Color Grading," "Saturation," "Vibrancy," or "Tone Mapping" sliders. These control how intensely the fantasy palette is applied without changing what blocks actually are.
Balance Vibrancy and Recognition
If colors feel too saturated and blocks become hard to identify, reduce saturation or vibrancy. If the world looks washed out or too vanilla, increase these values. The default setting aims for vivid fantasy colors while maintaining the classic Minecraft aesthetic.
Biome-Specific Effects
Different biomes receive different color treatments—forests appear lusher, deserts warmer, and oceans deeper. These are intentional and part of the fantasy feel. Adjusting global color settings affects all biomes uniformly.
Preserve Texture Detail
The shader's PBR material support means block surface details remain visible regardless of color settings. Your adjustments only change hue and brightness, not texture quality.
