Enhance Foliage Movement and Wind Effects

Locate Animation Settings

Enter shader options and search for sections labeled "Animation," "Wind," or "Foliage." LVE Sunward includes built-in wind simulation that affects leaves, grass, and crops across all biomes.

Adjust Wind Intensity

If foliage movement feels too subtle or too aggressive, most shader packs allow you to modify wind strength. Increasing this value makes grass, leaves, and plants sway more noticeably, creating a more dynamic outdoor feel. Decreasing it produces gentler, more realistic motion.

Biome-Specific Observation

Wind effects are most visible in forests, jungles, and plains. Visit these biomes to see the impact of your adjustments. Swaying is particularly noticeable on tall grass, tree leaves, and crop blocks like wheat and sugar cane.

Performance Consideration

Wind animation is lightweight and rarely impacts frame rates significantly. You can safely maximize these settings without concern on medium-tier hardware. The effect adds immersion with minimal performance cost.
