Enhance Water Reflections and Clarity
Locate Water Settings
Open the shader configuration menu and find the water or reflection section. This typically contains options for reflection quality, water transparency, and surface detail.
Adjust Reflection Quality
Increase the reflection resolution or quality slider to make water mirror the sky, clouds, and surrounding blocks more accurately. Higher settings produce clearer, more detailed reflections but demand more GPU power.
Control Water Transparency
Modify the water opacity or transparency setting to control how clearly you can see underwater. Lower values make water more see-through; higher values create a more opaque, fantasy-like appearance.
Fine-Tune Surface Effects
If available, adjust wave intensity or water surface detail to enhance the visual effect without sacrificing performance. Test near different water bodies—oceans, rivers, and lakes—to ensure reflections look good in varied lighting conditions.
Verify Performance Impact
Monitor your framerate after enabling high-quality reflections. If performance drops significantly, reduce reflection quality slightly while keeping the visual enhancement you want.
