Enable and Configure Portal Glow Effects

Activating Portal Glow

Portals in Lumora Shaders emit a bright, visible glow that makes them stand out in dark environments. This feature is enabled by default, but you can adjust its intensity through the shader settings.

How to Adjust Portal Brightness

1. Open your world and press the shader settings hotkey (usually O or check your controls)

2. Look for lighting or glow-related options in the menu

3. Find the portal glow or emissive light setting

4. Increase the value to make portals brighter, or decrease it if the glow feels overwhelming

5. Apply changes and observe portals in dark caves or at night

Best Practices

Portal glow works best when you're exploring caves or traveling at night. If you find the effect too intense indoors, reduce the setting slightly. The glow will still be visible enough to locate portals from a distance, but won't wash out your screen. Test different values in various lighting conditions to find your preferred balance.
