Adjust Cinematic Lighting to Match Your Playstyle

Understanding Cinematic Lighting

Lumora's cinematic lighting system changes how light spreads and colors your world. It creates more dramatic shadows and warmer or cooler tones depending on time of day and environment, giving Minecraft a more film-like appearance.

Customizing Light Behavior

1. Open shader settings in-game

2. Locate lighting, exposure, or color grading options

3. Adjust shadow intensity to control darkness in shaded areas

4. Modify color temperature to shift between warm (sunset) and cool (night) tones

5. Test changes at different times of day and in various biomes

Fine-Tuning for Gameplay

If caves feel too dark, increase ambient light or reduce shadow strength. For a more dramatic look, enhance shadows and reduce overall brightness. Caves and forests will show the most noticeable changes. Experiment with settings during sunrise, noon, and sunset to see how cinematic lighting affects each period. You can also adjust these settings per-session if you want different moods for exploration versus building.
