LuckyLand Map FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

What should I do first when I spawn into LuckyLand?
Find shelter immediately—either in one of the buildings scattered around the map or by building a quick base. Then start exploring nearby structures to locate lucky blocks and gather initial supplies before nightfall.
How do I know which blocks are lucky blocks?
Lucky blocks have a distinct appearance that stands out from normal blocks in the environment. They're intentionally placed throughout buildings and open areas, so look for blocks that seem out of place or have a special texture.
Can I predict what a lucky block will drop?
No—that's the core mechanic of the mod. Each lucky block gives you a random outcome, which could be useful items, gear, traps, or hazards, so breaking them is always a gamble.
What's the best strategy for surviving trap drops?
Break lucky blocks in open areas away from cliffs or water, and always have healing items on hand. If you're low on health, consider skipping blocks or breaking them from a distance using tools or projectiles.
Should I break every lucky block I find?
Not necessarily—some lucky blocks in dangerous locations (near lava, high up, or in tight spaces) might give you traps that are hard to survive. Prioritize blocks in safer areas and save risky ones for when you have better gear.
Can I use the buildings as a permanent base?
Yes, most buildings are sturdy enough to use as shelter, though you may want to reinforce doors and block off extra entrances. Building your own base nearby gives you more control over safety and storage.
Do lucky blocks respawn after I break them?
Lucky blocks do not respawn—once broken, they're gone. Plan your exploration carefully so you don't waste blocks early on when you're weak.
What happens if a lucky block trap kills me?
You'll drop your items at the death location and respawn at your spawn point or bed. Retrieve your items quickly before they despawn, or keep important gear in a chest at your base.
Are there any lucky blocks I should avoid breaking?
Blocks in extremely dangerous locations—like those floating over void, surrounded by lava, or in tight caves—have higher risk of instant-death traps. Use caution and consider your current health and gear before breaking them.
Can I modify or disable lucky blocks on this map?
The map is designed as-is with lucky blocks placed intentionally, so modifying them isn't recommended without map editing tools. Play the map as intended to experience the full challenge and randomness.
