Lucky Cubes Race and PVP Map FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I start a game?
Load the map in a world, gather up to three friends, and have everyone join. Stand on your colored starting platform and wait for the countdown timer to reach zero before you begin breaking cubes.
What happens if I die during the race phase?
You'll respawn at your track's starting point, but you'll lose any items you were carrying. You can rejoin the race and try to catch up, though you'll be behind on gear.
Can I play solo or do I need other players?
You can play with just one other person, but the map is designed for up to four players total. Solo play isn't supported since the race and final battle require opponents.
Do all players race on the same track or separate ones?
Each player gets their own colored lane running parallel to the others, so you're racing side-by-side but on separate paths filled with your own mystery cubes.
What's the difference between the tracks?
Each colored track has its own layout, trap placement, and cube distribution, so choosing a track that matches your playstyle—whether you prefer combat gear or defensive items—can give you an edge.
Can I see what other players are picking up during the race?
Yes, you can watch the other lanes as you run, which helps you gauge what gear your opponents have before the final battle starts.
What happens if someone reaches the arena before others?
The first player to reach the final battle arena will wait there until all remaining players arrive or are eliminated; the battle doesn't start until everyone has entered or the timer expires.
Are the mystery cube drops truly random or weighted?
The cubes drop random items, but the exact distribution of weapons, armor, food, and traps depends on the map's configuration—some runs will favor combat gear while others spawn more hazards.
Can I use my own items or mods during the race?
You start with nothing and can only use items dropped from the mystery cubes during the race phase, so outside gear and incompatible mods won't affect your loadout.
What causes lag or performance issues on this map?
Having too many players, running high render distance, or using resource-heavy mods alongside the map can cause slowdowns; try reducing your render distance or playing with fewer players if you experience lag.
