Tame Your First Mob Companion

Gather a Golden Apple

Craft or find a Golden Apple. This is your direct taming item—no random timers or complex rituals required.

Approach and Feed the Mob

Locate a wild mob you want to recruit (zombies, skeletons, creepers, endermen, and many others are tameable). Approach it peacefully and feed it the Golden Apple. The mob will immediately become your loyal companion and stop attacking you.

Assign to a Team

Once tamed, your new ally joins your roster. Open your team management screen to see all recruited mobs and assign them to one of 16 available teams. This keeps your squad organized, especially if you plan to build larger forces.

Equip and Command

Your companion starts unarmed. Access the gear management interface to equip weapons, shields, and armor onto your new ally. Once geared, use tactical commands (move, follow, stay, attack) to direct them in combat. Your first recruit is now ready for battle.
