Loyal Legion Reforged Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I tame my first mob?
Find a wild mob you want to recruit, hold a Golden Apple, and feed it to the mob. The mob will immediately become your ally and join your team—no waiting for timers or random chance involved.
Can I tame any mob in the game?
Most hostile and neutral mobs can be tamed, including Creepers, Skeletons, Zombies, Endermen, and the Ender Dragon. Some mobs may have restrictions or special requirements; check the mod's mob compatibility list for details.
How do I switch to the top-down camera?
Press the designated camera toggle key (check your keybinds in settings) to switch between first-person and the tactical top-down view. The top-down camera lets you see your entire squad and issue commands more easily.
How many mobs can I have in one team?
You can recruit as many mobs as you want into a single team, but performance depends on your computer's specs. The mod supports up to 16 different teams, so you can organize large armies across multiple squads.
Can I put armor and weapons on my mobs?
Yes, open your mob's gear screen and equip weapons, shields, and full armor sets into their custom gear slots. Your mobs will wear and use the equipment in combat, improving their effectiveness.
How do I command my mobs to move or attack?
Select your mobs in the top-down camera view and use hotkeys or the command menu to issue orders: move to a location, follow you, stay in place, or attack a target. Different command types let you control squad tactics in real-time.
How do I tame and ride the Ender Dragon?
Feed the Ender Dragon a Golden Apple like any other mob to tame it, then mount it and use simple keyboard controls to fly around. You can command it like other squad members or ride it directly for exploration.
What's the team management screen and how do I use it?
Open the dedicated team management screen (check your keybinds) to view your squad rosters, inspect individual mob stats and gear, and teleport allies to your location. This is useful for organizing large armies and keeping track of your team.
Do my mobs stay tamed if I log out or die?
Your tamed mobs are saved to your team data and persist after logout. If you die, your mobs remain alive and loyal unless they're killed in combat.
Can I set up faction battles between different teams?
Yes, assign mobs to different teams (up to 16 total) and they will treat other teams as enemies. You can set up large-scale battles by commanding your squads against each other or against enemy factions.
